‘Sheng Xiao’ the Chinese zodiac has its origins in the Qin Dynasty more than 2000 years ago.
The Lunar year begins in Jan/February and is celebrated with the Spring Festival. There are 12 animals in the Zodiac that are rotated through, next year 2025 will be the year of the snake.
Legend has it that the Jade Emperor held a race and a banquet and invited the animals to attend, the order they arrived in would be their position in the Zodiac.
The animals had to cross a wide river, The Rat, jumped on the Ox’s back and jumped off head of the Ox and arrived first, followed by the Ox. The tiger arrived third, followed by the rabbit who was helped by the great dragon puffy him to safety. The snake stole a ride on the horses leg and jumped off. The sheep, the monkey and the rooster, worked as team and travelled by boat drawing lots for which order they arrived in. The dog, spent more time playing in the water and was nearly beaten by the pig, but the pig found some food and had a relaxing sleep arrived last.

Custom and personalised orders
I can put a photo in any of the available lockets, please provided a digital image in the ‘messages’. Please think about the shape/ style and how the image will fit. I will send you a draft version so you are able to make any changes before the final version. It will be printed on HP glossy paper using original HP ink.
I will send any extra photos to you and destroy any images from my own PC once you are happy.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Items can be gift wrapped with a handwritten note. This is normally a velvet / fabric pouch and protective acid fee tissue paper.

No solid precious metals are used unless specifically stated, eg: gold, silver, platinum. Stainless Steel is extremely versatile, very rarely cause reactions and can be kept clean / scratch free using a soft cloth. Silver, Gold or Rhodium plating is used as a final finishing to over items made from copper/zinc/brass base metal and their alloys. It should be durable but it needs to be kept clean / scratch free. Individuals can have reactions to some base metals e.g: copper can cause oxidation on the skin, green. All items are Lead & Nickel Free.
