Very Pretty Silver Heart Shaped Photo Locket, Engraved Art Deco Wave Pattern with a Silver.
The traditional ‘keepsake’ locket was made popular in the Renaissance period and usually contained a miniature portrait. By the late Eighteenth Century and with the beginning of photography the locket became an increasingly popular wedding gift.
A lovely locket to keep your memories close to your heart.
The locket, bail and chain are stainless steel so not a bright silver or silver plate. This gives a more traditional Art Deco style to the locket.
The Art Deco or ‘Wave’ pattern is engraved on both sides of the locket
Details;
Apx - external - 29mm at widest point, 29mm at longest point.
Internal, to hold a photo - 23mm length & 17 widest point.
Bail is 7 x 9mm
A Selection of chains are now available, 50, 60 cm, in stainless steel traditional link or contemporary snake style or rhodium curb.
If you would like a photo fitted I can do this for you. This is a free service, please see the example this is my own personal locket and it’s a photo of my wedding.
Please use the ‘messages’ to send a clear digital image. Please think about the shape of the locket and how that will affect the photo, I will do a practice version so you can make any changes before the final one.
The locket will be wrapped and sent in a velvet pouch.
If you are not happy with the locket or photo, please let me know so I can do something to remedy this.

Custom and personalised orders
I can put a photo in any of the available lockets, please provided a digital image in the ‘messages’. Please think about the shape/ style and how the image will fit. I will send you a draft version so you are able to make any changes before the final version. It will be printed on HP glossy paper using original HP ink.
I will send any extra photos to you and destroy any images from my own PC once you are happy.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Items can be gift wrapped with a handwritten note. This is normally a velvet / fabric pouch and protective acid fee tissue paper.

Returns
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, I am happy to either offer you a refund or exchange the purchase on receipt of the item. I believe communication is the key, so please just contact me rather than leaving feedback.
Care instructions
No solid precious metals are used unless specifically stated, eg: gold, silver, platinum. My items are quality fashion jewellery & jewellery components produced from Stainless Steel, (polished/brushed) or Brass /Copper/Zinc alloys either plated with Silver, Gold or Rhodium. Stainless Steel is extremely versatile, very rarely cause reactions and can be kept clean / scratch free using a soft cloth. Silver, Gold or Rhodium plating is used as a final finishing to over items made from copper/zinc/brass base metal and their alloys. It should be durable but it needs to be kept clean / scratch free. Individuals can have reactions to some base metals e.g: copper can cause oxidation on the skin, green. All items are Lead & Nickel Free.
