A Bright Yellow Gold Oval Shaped Photo Locket with a Traditional Art Nouveau Floral Design complete with Necklace.
The traditional ‘keepsake’ locket was made popular in the Renaissance period and usually contained a miniature portrait. By the late Eighteenth Century and with the beginning of photography the locket became an increasingly popular wedding gift. A lovely locket to keep your memories close to your heart.
Details;
Apx - external - 23 mm at the widest point, 32mm at longest point, with 7cm bail.
Internal, to hold a photo - 23mm length & 17mm widest point.
Art Nouveau Floral ‘ Sakura’ poppy flower design on the front panel and plain on the reverse.
Complete with traditional link chain 60cm.
The locket has a bright traditional yellow gold finish on brass metal. This has been achieved using a method called PVD, physical vapour deposition which is a vacuum process rather than just plating. The main benefit is that PVD is more durable and resistant to corrosion, e.g. from everyday wear.
The last several photos show two lockets as a comparison, the left is a bright yellow gold finish the right is a paler gold.

Custom and personalised orders
I can put a photo in any of the available lockets, please provided a digital image in the ‘messages’. Please think about the shape/ style and how the image will fit. I will send you a draft version so you are able to make any changes before the final version. It will be printed on HP glossy paper using original HP ink.
I will send any extra photos to you and destroy any images from my own PC once you are happy.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Items can be gift wrapped with a handwritten note. This is normally a velvet / fabric pouch and protective acid fee tissue paper.

No solid precious metals are used unless specifically stated, eg: gold, silver, platinum. My items are quality fashion jewellery & jewellery components produced from Stainless Steel, (polished/brushed) or Brass /Copper/Zinc alloys either plated with Silver, Gold or Rhodium. Stainless Steel is extremely versatile, very rarely cause reactions and can be kept clean / scratch free using a soft cloth. Silver, Gold or Rhodium plating is used as a final finishing to over items made from copper/zinc/brass base metal and their alloys. It should be durable but it needs to be kept clean / scratch free. Individuals can have reactions to some base metals e.g: copper can cause oxidation on the skin, green. All items are Lead & Nickel Free.
